Cabinets selections

Visited Sanford and Howley over to select cabinets for Kitchen, Family room and all bathrooms. It was a very nice experience there. Jeff the guy who helped us there had all the preparation done according to our home layout and helped us through the process to select each and every piece.

Very excited to see how is it going to come out.

Update on July 2: Here are some of the selections

Updates on July 31:
We finally decided to go with New Haven style in Java stain for kitchen and family room. For all the bathrooms we are going with raised panel in Espresso stain.

Foundation and filling done waiting to start framing

Today we visited the site after dropping Ram for his soccer practice. To our surprise lots of things were done from last visit. They had filled garage space, sewer piping, initial plumbing, graveling of main areas.

Now desperately waiting for framing to start.

Appliance selection

Appliances are part our daily life. In our current home we had selected Samsung because we liked the style of Samsung.

Just after 2 years we have to make selection again. This time GE Profile has come up with newer styles, they impressive and they being GE, we went for GE Profile. When we have a choose we are like why not, so went with red washer and dryer.

GE has a nice rebate option if you buy 8 appliances. So we added warming door as 8th appliance, hope this is going to be useful item in our new kitchen.

Bricks shades decided

Today went to mason to finalize bricks. Here is what we liked.

 Came home and tried some simulations as there is not sample house with 2 types of bricks. Not sure what to do.
